General Assembly

The General Assembly gather all members of MAKErS at least once a year to review the work done in the previous year and define key orientations for the coming year.

Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is MAKErs’s supervisory body, composed of 45 members: the project coordinators and our main partners in the consortium in terms of research (research center directors, research area coordinators), master’s programs (faculty directors, master degree coordinators) and doctoral programs (heads of doctoral schools).

Teaching Committee

An operational sub-committee of the Steering Committee for teaching-related matters, the Teaching Committee comprises 11 members (3 coordinators + 8 master degree coordinators).

This committee serves as the evaluation jury for the MAKErS program, and attributes student internship and mobility grants. It meets as required.

Research Committee

An operational sub-committee of the Steering Committee for research-related matters, the Teaching Committee comprises 10 members (3 coordinators + 3 research center directors + 1 representative for each research area).

This committee is tasked with defining the MAKErS program’s research action, selecting MAKErS PhD candidates, post-doc and visiting fellows, organizing the Summer School, doctoral seminars and keynote conferences.

It meets as required.

Scientific Advisory Board (SAB)

Composed of eminent, internationally-recognized scholars, the Scientific Advisory Board is tasked with the expertise and evaluation of the project’s development and with proposing orientations.

It meets as required.

Project Management Team (PMT)

The Project Management Team is tasked with operational project implementation on a day-to-day basis, under the supervision of the Steering Committee. It is composed of the three project coordinators and of a manager.

It meets once a week.
